SVEN Baas a colleague and friend of ex Mariner Menno Willems is having a trial at Blundell Park with the hope of getting a contract with the Mariners.
Both played together at HFC Haarlem in Holland. Menno is still on contract at Sparta but could be released at the end of the season.
