Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby finish?

Better Than Theirs!
Better Than Theirs!

Morecambe It Is!

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 17/09/2005

THE Mariners have been given a home draw to Conference outfit Morecambe in the LDV Trophy.

The Lancashire club, who are fifth in the Conference, will relish the prospect of playing against League opposition. Town lost to a non-league team (Carlisle) at the same stage last year, albeit away from home.

The two teams have never met before, although Russell Slade will be familiar with the Shrimps from his Conference days at Scarborough.
