Fine Wine Drinker Posts: 1,367 Posts Per Day: 0.34 Reputation: 89.49% Rep Score: +17 / -1 Approval: +3,619 Gold Stars: 1	I would hope that the manager and club secretary are having regular fixture and scheduling meetings, so that if a spare Saturday or Tuesday night presents itself, the secretary can be on the phone to another club to get another game in, brought forward from later in the season. We're always told that PH and the players would rather have games than training, so if the management and players feel they're on a roll and fancy themselves to turn a particular team over, they can try to get it into the diary and have the added benefit of giving themselves a bit of a winter break!

If you remember last season, we had four games in a week, we asked if we could move one, against Dartford, I think it was, & they refused. They wanted to play us when we were knackered to give themselves an advantage. Both teams have to agree on a move, & the league don't want to get involved.
