A bit late for this fundraising campaign,  however, could the Trust design some basic merchandising that could be sold to fans?  I ama also thinking of limited editions.

One example could be say 3 different types of GTFC car stickers.  Maybe 100 of each type?  They could be numbered (if possible) and have the Trust motif.

I have had the same 2 "GTFC" car stickers for years and would buy new ones.    I would pay over the odds for these. A donation in effect, but getting something back.

Other items could be designed for fans to buy.  Ideally, something that the Town Shop does not sell.

Not wishing to be rude, but have you actually had a look at what operation promotion is?!

Believe it or not this was done years ago by the Trust in its early days.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

OK big update:

We're £50 off of £65,000. So if anyone can tip it/me over the edge would be appreciated.

This puts the grand total, after all extra contributions in AND all associated costs off, at £84,000. Which means we need to do £16,000 in the last 13 days to hit £100,000 net. This is achievable if we can all work together.

All suggestions on extra stuff are great and will certainly be looked at/discussed once this is finished. But if anyone can help push what's already available, the signed shirts, the Harrys, the tickets to Lloyd Griffith etc we can do it.

Big push please!

Surely the trust and the telegraph can join together to urge people to push the boat out for the remaining two weeks. Maybe a video or something inspiring to motivate everyone to donate that extra bit more.

Yes there will be bits in the Telegraph. What I mean is that if we all, as individuals, can each convince one more person to part with £10, it would make a massive, massive difference.

Just posted this on its own thread so pop it on here to make sure its not missed...

Good evening ladies and gents.
I have a mint condition, Wembley 98 (Auto Windscreens) programme that has the cover signed by the whole squad. My next door neighbour was the coach driver for the club that weekend (he was allowed to sit on the bench with subs and staff that day) and he got me the programme signed. It's since lived in my attic in a plastic wallet and followed me house to house. I'm moving house this week and thought sod it,.let's see if anyone would have an interest in it.

If it went up on the operation promotion page, would people be willing to buy it for a few quid and how much?

Agreed. If the 3200 diehards who turn up each week can just stretch to a fiver then that is 16000 and would see us reach our target and would send messages throughout this league that the fans of Grimsby Town want promotion more than any other club down here.

Does the £65k include the £20k from the Mullens and £5k from the trust?

No. As it says above:

This puts the grand total, after all extra contributions in AND all associated costs off, at £84,000.
