£58,000. Phenomenal effort

"Pound for pound, and class for class, the best football team I have seen in England since the war. In the league they were in they played football nobody else could play. Everything was measured, planned and perfected and you could not wish to see more entertaining football." Bill Shankly, Manager GTFC 1951-54

I thought 50,000 would be a good effort but we are well on the way to 100,000 with all the other donations still to go in.

Brilliant effort.

Is there any chance the Telegraph would print a step-by-step guide for the 'non net savvy' supporters on not only how to donate but also to some of the incentives available? Might help push the Operation to a different audience

Seems to be if you do not have access to the internet you cannot donate, need to provide an opportunity for those without access to make a donation.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you give him an excuse for him to escape from the wife and kids for the weekend and drink lots of beer.

Wonder if Freshney Place Would allow a free barrow for a weekend?  Assuming someone will man it?

Either that or maybe just let the trust have WHSH!TS

That's absolutely not true. The club has taken significant donations from the club shop (as has been advertised a fair bit) and you can also make a bank transfer straight to the Trust (as others have done). You only need to ask and someone will help!
