Another great performance, worth the time and money just to see Arnold's goal.

Nathan played really well in the 2nd half after an average 1st half, he really has this knack of playing himself into a game............ The 2nd goal was another class finish, quality player and clearly a top bloke.

Really impressed with the obvious chemistry that's forming between our forwards - Arnold's dummies tonight, along with the first-time passes from everyone for Marshall's goal.

Appreciate a few have watched it on the live stream but 2nd half especially I thought we played very well. I was told Posh started with 2 or 3 who they expect to start their season but brought on another 3 in the 2nd half so not a full blown League one side on that basis. First half hour they passed it well but drunk me off by time wasting, standing over free kicks, moving to get the ball when a free kick given but just standing next to it rather than knocking it to the right place. It's a pre season friendly FFS! Anyway thought the movement of our attacking players was very good and Pearson looked back on form as the game progressed. Our equaliser was superb one touch football and It was very good to see Arnold try his luck from distance. More of this please! Delighted that the old boy sat in front of us survived the game. I have never seen anyone get so excited at a friendly game! Great to see Macca back, hopefully gradually increase his game time on Thurs& Sat?

Their number 4 tonight was a big lad but thought Arnold outsmarted him on a couple of occasions in that 2nd half, game went a little flat for 10/15 mins once Amond and Marshall went off and didn't really see Monkhouse getting into the game but thoroughly impressed, great performance again.

Great game and great effort, every dug out blind for each other. On another note it's not relevant as such, but I don't think it warrants its own thread.... Why oh why do we get rubbish coverage on BBC Football Website? Whereas Wrexham get ridiculous amounts, we just beat Peterborough and their Bangor City win pops up.. We got nothing for our wins against all other championship and league 2 teams either... They even had a main article on how they decided not to sign a trialist? How is that news!!! Editor a Wrexham fan or something?! Anyway great game and result tonight!

It just means BBC Wales put more stories forward for being put on the website doesn't it? These results are only friendly games after all so are just glorified training sessions no real need for them to be reported on.

Peterborough provided our toughest test and we did well. They are strong and quick in midfield but never got through us. All the lads worked really hard to get into the game and we played some good passing football again. Their early goal was an excellent strike from distance after we stood off them a bit. Once we got going we posed them a few problems and Amond was unlucky to have his goal chalked off for an offside decision. He gets himself into great positions and knows where the goal is. We started the second half on the front foot and scored a lovely goal with slick approach play and a fine finish from Marshall. Pittman had a great effort a couple of inches over the bar. For about 10 mins they got on top and we lost our shape a bit, but we put bodies on the line and restricted them to speculative efforts. We then got going again and Arnold was excellent after moving to a more central role. He ran them ragged and smacked in a great shot which took a bit of a deflection but flew into the net. A couple of picky points, although defending well Totos distribution from full back was not great, although some of his forward runs were good. I am not sure about Andy Monkhouse, he seemed to be more of a defensive midfielder than an attacker and still looks a bit rusty.
