Well mr hurst, this certainly applies to you in respect of money and support.  You have delivered absolutely nothing in return for the money and support you've been given.  The expectation of the fans is to be winning the league, not out of the race 3 bloody months before the end of the season.



I demand that you apologise to the people that pay your wages, both for your sheer arrogance and your inability to do the job you're paid to do.

Getting rid of Mackreth was a mistake.

That will make him and the players feel wanted well done this seasons end could finishing really ugly with failing in the play games and getting to Wembley in the FA Tinpot final with the lowest turn out ever as a protest.

Tell your players to be in first thing this morning at cheapside, knuckle down for the next 6 days, put on a performance at Halifax, get back to winning ways sharpish!

I am angry after the way our fans gave the money  to him  if we fai

Hopefully he will come out and  retract his comment  . Then we can draw a line under it and let the fans back him until the end of the season which will be the best time to discuss his future and not now.  I can feel a poisonous atmosphere sneaking in which will achieve nothing.  I am as annoyed as everyone else on here however I will grit my teeth for 3 more months in the hope that he can take us up in the lottery of the play-offs.

Message to Hurst? Stop pretending that performances like yesterday, Gateshead and Guiseley are acceptable. Yes, we have been spoiled, by teams long before your time and if that is an unpalatable truth that you can't live with, then you've got a decision to make. But, under no circumstance, criticise the people who a.pay your wages and b. have been unquestionably loyal.

God, the melodrama we often get following the dissection of one sentence of a post-match interview gets on my nerves.

I listened to the interview and didn't think anything outrageous was said until I saw the long thread moaning about it.

A poor choice of words from him, I'll grant you, but I'm afraid I just can't get all het up and outraged in the way that some apparently do. I'm more drunk off with the poor performance and lack of intelligent play from the team than anything Hurst does or doesn't say after the game.

P.S. Where's that bloody 4th striker - a 'targetman' - we've needed for so long, Hurst? This lack of a balanced squad is what pisses me off.
