Back to  Linscum then  I have to admit after securing safety  to get sacked. The quality of Football must of been so bad the  people in charge couldn't cope with another season of it  heard a few disgruntled comments from fans about 4 weeks ago so yep surprised with that one Appleton looking through the small print on his contract as we speak 😳😳

They went in after just a few games though so not like they have worked a miracle in a short period of time, about 7 points adrift of safety when they went in and are now 3 points clear, one of the lowest scorers in the division too.
Couldnt happen to nicer people IMO.

Funny thing is I envied Lincoln when they had the Cowley's and the success they achieved there.

but  

I'd pick Ollie over the Cowley's any day.

They were bottom with one point when they took over. Their form would have took them into the top half of the table if they had started the season.

Thing is had Ollie done well and sustained his success at some of his previous clubs he wouldn't be with us now. It's like players as well as your aware . Most want to be at the top of their respective profession.

I think the ultimate for players and managers alike if they had the ability would be Real Madrid. Status and money. Just one season there on their average wage and it would set you up financially for life eg 11.5 million a season 😮.
