Yes everyone says we need an experienced or proven striker........

........but if no experienced strikers are prepared to come here because of the COVID clause in any contract, or for any other reason, then what is Ollie to do?

Why's he wasting "our" money? West Brom would be covering his wages, the lad won't cost us a bean and knowing squeaky, the chances are he'll be charging West Brom did the privilege of allowing one if their players to come here!!🤣🤣

I thought we had to pay part loan players  wages for the privalage . And it wouldnt suprise me if Fenty did not try that one on

In all seriousness, the parent club would pick up circa 60-80% of the players wages depending on the deal struck, but if they believe the loan to be of a significantly high standard they can agree to pick up the tab as it's the development of their player that matters most. I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised that any loan deal we agree would require the parent club to be paying the players wages and we will pay any costs, ie accomodation, food, travel etc.

It may be poor camera work but he seems to have an impressive range of skills. Hard working, quick, good touch and hold up, brave and links well. No way would he have let Macca take 'that penalty'!

As promising as he looks, he is very young and inexperienced. Not sure we need another young player like him unless he is exceptional for his age. Then what do I know?
