Incidentally, how many loan players are we allowed to name in our match day squad of 18? If the Bennett deal goes through in time we'll have 6 loans (all 1-year deals):

Morton
Taylor
Bennett
Edwards
Windsor

Depends what he’s like. Remember when we signed completely unproven Martin Paterson on loan and it was clear from about 5 minutes in that he was probably the best striker in the division.  
Granted we’ve had some shite loans but just because this kids don’t have the experience, doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t have the quality.

5 in a squad and you would assume Preston and Bennett would play most weeks so that is 3 from the others. It would probably be a choice between Morton and Taylor. Edwards is a good impact player due to his pace and unpredictability.

Lincoln already have two young strikers from West Brom on loan with them, one of whom joined earlier this week, so this lad is obviously well down their pecking order.

Still never judge a player on paper, on what previous clubs fans say but wait until I have seen them play a few games for town.

Yeah, fair comment. Wasn't doubting the new lad, just wondering how ready he is to improve on what we have. Just seems odd when we have three young strikers already signed to the club who don't seem to be anywhere near the first team. Perhaps they are seen as ones to develop for the future? Anyway, I'm sure IH knows what he's doing.
