And what a book it could potentially be, but unfortunately he isn't that kind of man.

True, Ian is more into the spy/action genre.

More than one player making their home debut every home game on average. With 23 league home games a season, that is pretty much a whole new squad, every season for 38 years.

Best wishes for the future.

A lot of organisational knowledge gone.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

And what a book it could potentially be, but unfortunately he isn't that kind of man. He was always the stalwart behind the scenes making everything happen.

In the write up it about him it says something about during his time and signing 1200 players. Would he have had any involvement in those signings?

He still had the role of company secretary so I’d imagine he would. Basically the focal point of anything legal.

No idea what he was like as a person, but his statements always carried a dignity that others 'in the building' lacked.

Rae Walker has been the Company Secretary for some time.

I also understand that Dale the Press Officer is leaving as well.
