That we have a small faction of idiots who go to occasional away games doesn’t change that a jot. That it’s a perhaps a bigger faction than other clubs doesn’t either. It’s not for regular, match going fans to sort out - that’s between the club and the police to deal with.

If the behaviour of said idiots begins to impinge on the match day experience of genuine supporters, then it’s those channels - the club and the police - which need to be challenged.  


It's drink and or drugs. It's as simple as that.

A big away game and drinking starts early, very early. Swaying on the train by 10.30. By 3pm everything is a blur and every second word is profanity and anybody sensible just ignores it if they can. Won't listen to stewards, won't take advice or even a polite suggestion.

No wonder I haven't got any friends.

My wallet fell out of my pocket at some point & didn’t realise until I left the ground. By the time I’d walked into town someone had tracked me down on Instagram to say they’d found it & they posted it out to us first thing Monday morning. I know it’s only a small thing but it had some very sentimental things in there so I was made up to get it back.
