It seems what most of you are presuming, and we don't know either way as yet, is that he hasn't already signed an extension.

There has been no word on any contract talks so depending on whether Hurst and/or JS and AP think he is deserving of another contract, he and others could already have signed on the dotted line.

It's a terrible shame on a day when absolutely nothing went right. The fans were not too disappointed as most realised it was just one of those days.

I just hope and pray we can get the point we need on Tuesday and are able to rest a few at the weekend.

I'm sure he didn't but he seems to be prone to injury.
Being hard-nosed about it his playing days came to a stutter in 2017-18 when he was on loan to Burton. It's all fits and starts since, and his time at GTFC is just a continuance. Not sure how many games he's played for us, but I guess 25% of possible?
Shame but there it is.

I’d like to be a bit less blasé about an injury to possibly our most talented player. All season we’ve been going on about Max getting fitter, and without being disrespectful, he’s nothing like at the same level as Scanz. I hope he gets properly looked after and that yesterday wasn’t his last game as a pro footballer.

From a purely selfish point of view, it compounds matters quite significantly. We're now looking at going into the playoffs with no Scannell, Efete and at best a half fit McAtee, plus I didn't think Amos looked 100% yesterday. That's basically all our threat gone.

understandable if we miss out because of this, but it won't stop the fans moaning if we dont go up.  Some are so unrealistic with their expectations.
