All the best James, many brilliant saves, thank you for your service. We’d have been a worse club without you.

Great servant to the club . Should’ve done himself better when we were dire and joined a better club but that stuck it out with us so thanks James . Good luck in the future, sure you’ll find yourself a decent club as you’ve got a good few years left career wise .

Unless you’ve decided to become a security guard 🤣

How much does he free our wage budget up?

Sure he'll find a good non league club though

have seen figures of between £2k & £3k per week. I personally tend up the upper figure as it was widely reported that he wanted, and got, parity with Hanson, who was definitely on a good whack. If i remember correctly he was already doing pretty well as he'd got a good increase when the Scottish club were sniffing around.

so even if you went on £2.5 k per week, thats £130, 000 + 30% pension/Ni = £175,000 (and there will be things like clean sheet bonuses etc on top as well)

as to the future, i hear that he is starting his teaching career and will be playing part time for Boston

Whatever he does, good luck James , and thanks for all the great games and memories

3 hours a day training to teaching will be a culture shock, to say the least!

James. Always remember the good 90% your time at GTFC and the remaining 10% whilst difficult; is “just life”…don’t dwell or “let it eat away at you”

You demonstrated loyalty and could have flown the nest to other clubs over the years if the rumours were true. Now it feels is definitely the right time for a fresh start for everyone.

Go and be successful again and no doubt we will see you at BP in the forthcoming years which I’m very sure you will get a very warm and well deserved welcome.

Good luck and thank you.

A terrific servant to the club - I had the privilege of seeing his performance away at Exeter a couple of seasons back - a brilliant and inspirational display !! - Thank you Macca, well done - very best wishes for the future.
