Grimsby v Wrexham Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 14/03/2014

INJURED players Oumare Tounkara, Jamal Fyfield, Clayton McDonald and Chris Doig have all returned to training following their injuries, but all of them are still a few days off being fit enough to be considered for first team duties. It leaves Joe Colbeck (ankle) as the only player still receiving treatment.

Paul Hurst therefore can largely choose the same team that drew on Tuesday night with Hereford. Connor Jennings did not start that game due to being held up in traffic, however the on-loan striker is likely to start for the visit of Wrexham.

The Dragons have not repeated last season's campaign when they challenged for the title and beat Grimsby in the FA Trophy. They still have an outside chance of making the play-offs and are not completely clear of relegation, so they still have plenty to play for. As do Grimsby who really need to pick up three points with several fixtures against the sides above them to follow this game.
