The Sun Says
Gillingham's Andy Hessenthaler in The Sun
"I never thought at 35 i'd be a manager of a First Division club. Just playing teams like Wolves and Blackburn in the same league this year is fantastic - to actually beat one is brilliant. Now we just have to keep it going."
If Hessenthaler is correct, the jubilant Gills' biggest test looms this week with glamorous trips to Torquay in the Worthington Cup and then Grimsby.........."

From "Martin Chilton's Football Notebook"
News from Grimsby takes a while to reach Martin Chilton. Eight days after Buckley's sacking this appeared in his column.
Grimsby sacked manager Alan Buckley after two games and vice-chairman Bryan Huxford said: "Results have not improved and we felt it was time for a change." Unfair perhaps, inaccurate certainly.
Mighty Grimsby lost their opening game to Preston, but had galvanised themselves to force a draw in game two against Portsmouth.
