Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby finish?

Bournemouth Team News

NICKY Law takes charge of his first game at Blundell Park against Bournemouth. Alan Fettis and John Thorrington will make their debuts for the Mariners, but with a huge number of injuries at Blundell Park the rest of the side will be largely made up of those able to play.

In goal Hull's Alan Fettis will make his debut, taking over from Andy Pettinger (broken finger). Aidan Davison's three match ban has now been completed, but he is still recovering from a calf injury.

In central defence Tony Crane starts his four-match ban, Simon Ford is doubtful after missing the Wrexham game with a thigh strain, and Craig Armstrong was substituted after a rib injury in the same match. Utility player Jason Crowe is definitely out with a hamstring injury. McDermott is still ruled out with a hernia problem.

Iain Anderson and Stacy Coldicott (both groin) are both rated doubtful in midfield, with Coldicott the most likely to recover in time. John Thorrington can play in a number of positions in both defence and midfield, but looks likely to feature somewhere in the starting XI.

Up front, Lee Thorpe has now left the club and Isaiah Rankin is sidelined with an ankle ligament injury. This gives Law the option of promoting Jevons to his natural front role, but the other injuries make it more likely for the former Evertonian to remain in midfield.

Town: (from) Fettis, Parker, Young, Edwards, Barnard, Jevons, Daws, Campbell, Hockless, Soames, Mansaram, Thorrington, Hamilton, Rowan, Nimmo, Bolder, Coldicott, Armstrong.
