Quoted from Garth
When we play with Robinson we are virtually a man short in one of the most important positions, if that's scapegoating so be it, behind Macca he is the most important player for the opposition that they have at this moment in time.
Both situations can be resolved, rest Macca and give relegation haunted Luton their player back.
Paul Hurst.  Now that's another matter

Craig Clay did not exactly set the world on fire yesterday.

So I believe, but hes suddenly partnering a similar type player who is not match sharp that he has not played with before, Of course he wont be great if he is worrying about other things that may or may not be going on around him as well as his own game

This. I thought Clay carried Robinson in the first half yesterday and was knackered by half time. Waiting to change it was half the problem.

If Clay was knackered after 45 minutes (in which he really didn't do any more than Robinson), he's got a problem, especially as he has sat out the previous two games.

I don't think a great deal of Robinson, but let's not imagine that Clay was any better than him yesterday, especially in the second half when both went AWOL.

As I've stated I'm still pro-Hurst and not in the business of scapegoating but feel Robinson has severely hamstrung us in a vital position, the engine room and yes I agree it's like playing with ten men. Someone like utility man East in there even would at least have a motor on him.

The manager picks the team not the players................

And also instructs them about who sits and who presses forward.

Same to be honest and certainly believe a change would be a massive gamble, Listening to Craig Clay on Humberside (who fronted up) he said the players need to get together and deal with this and nobody else. I believe they know what this means to us and will do theor best whether they are perm or a loanee.
