Newport County sign Jon Parkin -


Newport County AFC have announced the signing of former Cardiff City striker Jon Parkin on a one-year deal.

The 34-year-old, known as 'The Beast', joins the Exiles ahead of the start of the upcoming season and will add to manager Warren Feeney’s attacking options, as the club continues to assess the injury picked up by Lenell John-Lewis in the pre-season fixture against Caldicot Town.
