Dembele ripping the league up on dribbling. Hopefully bigger teams in the Premiership might start to take notice rather than the lesser teams that were originally named as showing interest in him.

2 or 3 Premier League clubs putting him at the top of their January priorities would be ideal and help push his price up further.

Maybe get a bigger fee if we pointed out that his number of successful dribbles (84) is a massive 37 more than Mayor in 2nd place (47).

Remarkably, Dembele is so good that he has a bigger “lead” over 2nd place than the numbers between 2nd and 10th place.

He is the Lewis Hamilton of Div 1 successful dribbles.  😁😁

I remember reading about Dembeles background before he joined us and I was optimistic due to him being scouted as part of Nikes most wanted trials.

Iam pleased for him that he has topped that list in the opening post  and not surprised as he was a joy to watch when I saw him play. Skilful and quick.

Wasted talent under Slade. We use to ask what's the point of having him come back to defend a corner, when he could be left up to occupy their defenders. They would have been scared to death of the prospect of him chasing them with a clearance.

Pay Mr Fenty off with the money (if it happens) to attract some proper investment so Ollie can take us all the way to the Championship stroke Prem

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Dembele reminded me a bit of Raheem Sterling albeit a poorer version. But certainly when he was here my favourite player by far.

No doubt a talented lad, albeit frustrating occasionally, but perhaps that was the style, the coaching and the system we played. On occasions he wasn’t very effective but again, see above.

Has anyone any idea what a sell on could be? We’ve never been very shrewd in the past when it comes to things like this.

If we were to make a substantial amount could it not be reinvested in our youth system or training facilities rather than just continually ploughing cash in to the playing budget to finish 15th every season.

We’ve seen our youth system produce players, with additional support and investment some of those players could go on and make it, even if it’s not at town. That can only be a good thing surely?

The terms of Fenty’s loan repayments should have been set, based on financial performance, and then a clear exit strategy to remove him from the board once the loans have gone.

Has anyone had access to the full accounts yet?

25% according to the other recent thread on Dembele. Apparently confirmed by Day on Humberside.
