Reports suggesting that Siriki Dembélé is about to sign for Beşiktaş on an initial season long loan with a view to a £2.5 million permanent move. I wonder how playing in Istanbul matches up to a Lincolnshire derby?

Pleased for the lad. I rated him from the outset. Hope he makes it at Besiktas.

Some of them Turkish games can be intense especially in the champions league. I remember watching games on tv and reading about Manchester United player experiences and they often feared for their own safety due to the animosity often being ferocious.  I imagine much more so than any Lincolnshire derbys(due to mostly living a fair old distance away I haven't been to any Grimsby derby games).

You would assume Peterborough have a sell-on as their business model is based around it. There were bonuses based on Bournemouth getting promoted so I'm not sure how much of that £2.5m would be profit but we would get our percentage of what percentage Peterborough get. If Peterborough get £100k and we have a 20% sell-on, we would get another £20k so it's diluted.

Are you sure? That's not typically how it works. I've never heard of that being the case

If it was, we could be making money 5 sales down the line
