The second goal was the killer. Brilliant from a young player who looks likely to have a good career ahead of him. They were a bit jammy for the third.. Just a real pity we didn't manage a better go of things today.

For all the huff and puff, we've just not passed the ball well enough when we have had possession. Too often the case this season.

I think on the whole Grimsby have done alright, it was always going to be difficult for us but their class is showing now, what the commentators are forgetting is that these players who play for Brighton are worth millions, I’m proud of my team.

The wages of one of their players would pay our entire wage bill for two years

McAtee added a bit of a threat since he came on. First half Efete made some promising runs down the line  .

Brighton too good though.

That o.g. hit both of Luke’s legs before dribbling in.

We’ve certainly not had the bounce of the ball today. Used up our deflection luck with Richardson’s arsê cheek goal.

Town done amazing to get this far and proud of them all. But offered nothing today. Considering they are getting unrivalled exposure not one stood out. UTM

A step too far for us, but I like that we were still giving it a go at 4-0 down. What a great cup run though we'll remember this for years to come. Fair play to brighton they took us seriously and good luck to them in the semis.
