Wrexham and Notts County are going to be favourites for promotion to League One next season. Assuming County get promoted. Next season looks tougher on paper than this one?

Once Wrexham reach League 1, they will require even more funding to succeed, and then The Championship is on another level to compete. It will be interesting to see what happens to Wrexham once their owners sell up.
But thats any club who move through , if we went up there would be a massive shortfall to cover just to compete (look at Lincoln ). I don't think when they sell up Wrexham will suddenly go pop they have a decent support base and would probably average 12 to 15k in league 1 which would mean they could compete even without super investment. I am more envious of the funding they are getting for their new stand tbh . I can see them leaving Wrexham in a better place than they found it when they do decide to leave , i expect them to top out at league 1 with the odd flirt with the Champ , unless they find more people who will invest even more heavily to take them right through . On a sidenote - i was sad to see Hartlepool all but relegated today , thought their fans were brilliant when they came to BP and was hoping for them to come back in their numbers next season ; instead we will have about 50 creep Crawleys .

I wasn’t too worried about Hartlepool, their support has given us quite a lot of sh1t over the years.

Yeah they have Herts , just like that they are well supported away from home , if Bradford ,Stockport or/and Mansfied go up we will only be looking at 3 or 4 bringing decent numbers - all the ones coming down from league 1 have never travelled well, whoever it is who drops . FGR , Morecambe and Accrington are double figure types.

I would be more upset at losing a well supported team like Hartlepool in years gone by where we struggled to get 4000 home fans to attend. These days, the likes of Crawley present an opportunity for more town fans to attend as we can give them the smaller partition of the Osmond.

Wrexham will bring a load as will Notts providing they go up. Brining numbers shouldn’t be forgiveness for years of sh1thousery, we should know that.

If Wrexham improve at the back they will walk League 2 next year.
