well that negative comments ban lasted long.
Come on, give them a chance and get behind them instead of putting them down! Pretty sure Scott will be on their backs and telling them what's what, without your help!
Start moaning if we're outside top 10 in October or December, not now!

Out if interest, why is it ok for Scott to moan at them but not for fans to post a few comments on a messageboard encouraging them to do even better ?
To be clear I will never moan or never not fully support the players at BP. (just in case that's your concern)

1st half was always going to be pretty poor and scrappy.
With so many new players in they will need to gel, lets hope its sooner rather than later.
Feel sorry for Wood but ultimately poor decision making can be the difference.
Like to see a more positive attacking approach from the managers on Tuesday selection wise.

because Scott and Hurst know what they're talking about, where as us fans don't really, we say stupid things like we could do better when in actual fact we know we can't. And not saying people can't have an opinion just think with it being so early and yet so many negative views already, it's hardly encouraging is i?

and hardly inspiring for fans that don't come often. with the negativeness it'll put fans off comming.

I think some of the comments are a bit OTT. After a scrappy first half where neither side played well, Town grew into the fame 2nd half and gradually took control, which resulted in a 15 minute spell where we put Southport under increasing pressure. We got the goal we deserved, and should have seen the game out. However Brad makes a rash (and I have to say absolutely needless) challenge to gift southport a free kick in a dangerous area. You just knew what was coming and sure enough an unmarked header for the equaliser.

For a side that were never under pressure for 90 minutes to concede so late is disappointing, it's not the end of the world and most of us would have taken a point before the game. Brad won't need anyone to tell him that his mistake cost him, I felt for him a bit because he'd played well up til then.

Overall I'm not too disappointed, and with 2 winnable home games coming up back to back, we have a chance to get someearly points on the board.

looking at the statics seems to me like town was the way better team anyway.

Disappointing the way in which we conceded the goal but the hate for Wood is just ridiculous on here. If it was anyone else I bet it would hardly be mentioned. People seem to want Wood to do badly just so they can slate him.
