Blimey, not many clues in this picture. The only thing I can think of to give any indication of it's location is the open space it's in, and the hilly terrain.

Probably 1930's ish.

So I will go for a black country or midlands club, guessing at Walsall.

Is it Victoria Ground Stoke ?.it had a running track  in the early days.loads of factory chimneys dotted around which makes me think it could be the potteries area. Just a guess though.
