Not just Grimsby's retained list, but how many on here are looking through other team lists as they are released, hoping to be the one who spots the bargain players we need?

Not seen any real eyeopeners yet, certainly none that we could afford ?

That's when this rumour mill will get cracking !!

Yeah I really enjoy this time of year looking at the names of hundreds of lower league players and thinking “wow, I have no idea who these people are, where they play or if they can even kick a football”.

If we ever sign a player that I’ve heard of it’s a massive event.

2023/24 is a new season. Midfield is an area we need to strengthen significantly.

If Hurst brings in another couple of midfielders he'll fall down the pecking order. And Hunt & Khouri are on the rise too.

If Holohan is going to be a bit part player next season then it would be fairer to let him leave to find regular football elsewhere.

What point is the ironically named ‘canny lad’ trying to make, because I’m not seeing it….?
