Fenty is supposed to be a businessman and astute with business is he not? So why would you 1. Break Covid EFL rules and bring someone to the match repeatedly if you are not looking at them helping out the club in some way? 2. Not think to yourself that this is probably not a good idea after the Notts County fiasco and 3. Not consider that being involved with a high profile fraudster is probably not a smart move for someone who is deputy leader of the council and responsible for regeneration? And to make things worse then go into business with them in a venture that’s part of regeneration and causes a conflict of interest with the local authority? Surely people must be thinking that we need to complain to NELC about this as he should not be allowed to continue with such conflicting roles and ventures with a high level fraudster.

But we all know how awful Fenty's judgement is, look at the managers he's appointed. He might have made a lot of money but he is sometimes not the sharpest knife in the box and does not engage his brain before opening his mouth (we have all seen his 'statements' in the past)

Whether he has just been stupid or he has been well and truly conned I don't know but I am absolutely sure that he would not sell GTFC to anyone or a syndicate that is not right for the club's future, if that was the case he would have taken Shutes money the amount of which had been agreed..

You've got me!

Sulking because we have paid not to watch our club at the stadium, yet this unsavoury person is allowed to break the rules and watch the match for free

You really expect him to do that after the years of abuse he's received simply for having the loan?

intercourse me are you his Batman??

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

You must be going out of your way to disengage your brain on this Swin because we know that you’re an intelligent man. Deliberately missing the point.

I am simply pointing out that the ex-con was not at Blundell Park yesterday to collect the keys to the executive drinks cabinet from John Fenty

and if he has been as regular a visitor as has been alleged surely Holloway must have been aware of his presence if not actually introduced?

John Fenty has not sold to May or whatever he is calling himself this week nor will he

In effect it appears an offence has been committed. Humberside police should investigate just as they would any business which breaches Covid rules. If a picture appeared in the local paper of say the Notts, serving drinks to people at 11PM, the Old Bill would be all over it. If people had a party at their house with 30 people in attendance, they’d turn up with vans. If 100 people turned up at a wedding reception in a hotel, the Daily Mail would be full of righteous (and valid) indignation.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Not if the new consortium said they wouldn't want him involved and he insists that is part of the deal. Seen a lot of people suggesting this and we all know what a megalomaniac he is.

No of course I don't but please, leave the Covid excrement out of it, people are up in arms and worried that John Fenty will sell our club to a syndicate headed by a con man that's where everybody's concerns should be channelled

Obviously he's not conned your elderly relatives out of there home/life savings so that's okay
