That's the whole point WE DON'T KNOW.

It appears Fenty has been very stupid and has (or had) entered into a business relationship with a convicted fraudster

As yet there is no evidence that the fraudster's sights are in anyway on GTFC more like if he can persuade (con) gullible John Fenty in his poisition on the council into some dodgy town centre rebirth building deal

So long as it does not in any way impact on GTFC frankly I'm not that bothered

You’re not getting it are you? If his sights aren’t on GTFC, then he shouldn’t have been at the ground.

Then why has he been to multiple games this season when the actual fans have been to none? And why is he breaking Tier 3 rules to go to a football match of a shite division 3 team that he has no interest in?

You say we don’t know, but he was also mixed up with Colin Dodd at Notts County who renamed his company from Meadow Lane Project to Blundell Park Project which is registered at the same address as Mays companies and uses the same solicitors

Not direct evidence, but it would be churlish to say there doesn’t appear to be a link here.

Why not? You would have been there if it wasn't for Covid does that mean you would be buying the club?

Seriously, rightly or wrongly Fenty is in some way involved (against his better judgement it appears in hindsight) with this man in a company or business venture and we don't know yet if the sale of the club is at the heart of it or not - yet. Inviting a business associate to see a match would not be all that unusual, knowing Fenty he might have been trying to impress (con) the con man with a look at his empire, lunch and a seat in the exec area.!

For what its worth May looks bored stiff I think he's more interested in his phone judging by the photo.

Is that what this is really about? Sulking because the ex-con has seen a game and you haven't

I would say his involvement with Colin Dodd of “Blundell Park Project Ltd” would suggest he has sights

Fenty is supposed to be a businessman and astute with business is he not? So why would you 1. Break Covid EFL rules and bring someone to the match repeatedly if you are not looking at them helping out the club in some way? 2. Not think to yourself that this is probably not a good idea after the Notts County fiasco and 3. Not consider that being involved with a high profile fraudster is probably not a smart move for someone who is deputy leader of the council and responsible for regeneration? And to make things worse then go into business with them in a venture that’s part of regeneration and causes a conflict of interest with the local authority? Surely people must be thinking that we need to complain to NELC about this as he should not be allowed to continue with such conflicting roles and ventures with a high level fraudster.

You must be going out of your way to disengage your brain on this Swin because we know that you’re an intelligent man. Deliberately missing the point.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
